Welcome to the 3rd International Conference on Medical Design (MD2022) jointly hosted by Medical Design Association (MDA), Chang Gung University, Tunghai University and Taipei Medical University Hospital. MD2022 provides a platform for exchanging ideas and innovations about the latest developments in the field of Medical Design among professionals around the world. With the fast growing of ageing population, the smart health and state-of-art medical technologies have fetched now world greatest concern. Recently, artificial intelligence and IoT become focal subjects. It stimulates essential issues in those applications, where IoT works together with AI, are only growing, creating new medical solutions and opportunities in the nearest future. Therefore, we have “Smart Health Promotion: Creating New Digital Healthcare” as our theme for this year’s conference.

The core value of MD conference is associating and exchanging the better medical design innovation, education, researches, and information from different parties. Again, we sincerely welcome you to Taiwan and hope that MD2022 will challenge and inspire you, and result in new knowledge, collaborations, and friendships.

Call For Papers

The International Conference on Medical Design (MD 2022) welcomes oral or poster presentations. MD2022 is to be held in Tunghai University, Taiwan. The scholars and practitioners are welcome to submit extended abstracts for the oral and poster presentations on any aspect of Medical Design in English at the MD conference. Some good extended abstracts will be recommended to submit Full Papers for oral/poster presentation at the conference. We will seriously evaluate and recommend some best submissions and presentations to the conference as the BEST CONFERENCE PAPER AWARD, BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD, and BEST POSTER PRESENTATION AWARD. All accepted Extended Abstracts and Full Papers at the MD conference will be published in the Proceedings, which will be provided to all registrants at the conference website as an electronic copy. All submissions should be prepared in MS Word format for publication in the Proceedings. Please download the MS Word Template ,use it to prepare your Extended Abstract/Full Pape, and submit it via the Paper Submission System. At least one author of every accepted paper or poster should have a Regular Registration no later than 31 October 2022 to be presented at the conference and included in the proceedings. Please note that one regular registration will cover the publication of only one accepted paper or poster.

1. A confirmation notice will be sent via email to all registrants only after full payment has been received. Please contact mda@pddlab.org if you do not receive any confirmation one week prior to the event.

2. Attendance will only be allowed upon full receipt of payment.

3. Registration fee refunds should be made in writing before 31 October 2022. Refunds will be subjected to an administrative charge of to be borne by the registrant. Bank charges that occur will be borne by the registrant. No refunds will be provided for cancellations or no shows after this date.

Volunteer Recruitment

The number of volunteers is limited. 6 volunteers are required on November 19, and 16 are required on November 20. Priority will be given to those who are available for both days. Volunteers will receive an E-mail when selected, please pay attention to your E-mail.
